When I first saw this assignment I was very disappointed. I felt this way mostly because I didn't want to record my voice for my peers to listen to. I also had some issues figuring out how to make the program work also. I am horrible at drawing any kind of picture so I didn't feel comfortable using pictures that I had drawn. It took some time to find pictures that I wanted to use and that matched what I wrote about. Another issue I had is figuring out how to make the slide show public, that was a nightmare. I had to ask for help from people who knew what they were doing more than I did. After I figured out how to work the program it was pretty easy to get everything put together. Now that I'm done with the project I realize that I enjoyed it more towards the end and I'm glad we had to do this assignment. I can see myself using this in my classroom because it would be more interesting than them having to read books to themselves. It would be a good project to assign to older elementary school children because it's engaging and they would be interested in recording their own voice. This project would be something different and exciting. I think students would enjoy presenting them to their classmates.
